House Info   For larger pictures of the house - Click here The layout of the house follows the traditional "two up -two down" design. Downstairs is taken up by a cosy living room on the left which contains  a wood-burning stove, and on the right is the dining room. The kitchen is located between those two, with an open-doorway access directly to the dining room. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom on the left and a twin on the right. The bathroom, with a cast iron bath as well as a modern electric shower, is located between these two. On the upstairs landing there is a small cupboard containing books, games, jigsaws and information about the local area. Electricity is provided without the use of a card meter but we ask for a contribution of 10p per unit. The house comfortably sleeps four, and a well behaved pet is more than welcome.  In the kitchen there is a cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. The living room has a phone (with incoming calls only), a radio/CD player and a DVD player. There is a TV but unfortunately it has no reception at the moment.  Wireless internet is available for a small contribution.  We have provided what we think is a good selection of DVD's including some for children, but you might want to bring your children's favourites or that DVD you bought and never had a chance to watch yet. There are some books and games to while away any rainy days - though we hope you won't see any!  If you are travelling with small children, please let us know if you require anything, eg travel cot, high chair etc. You can even help yourself to fresh herbs growing in the garden.
