Mingarry    Mingarry is a traditional early 19th Century highland cottage, located on the west coast of Scotland in the picturesque village of Scourie. It has been in our family for nearly a century and its character as a family home has been beautifully preserved.  We recently lovingly updated it to provide brightness and comfort that will make your stay really special.  Scourie is a very small village, so we are close to everything - the local shop, the hotel and bar (which serves meals in the summertime), the beach, the pier (which offers one of the best views of our spectacular west coast sunsets).... or you could take a ten minute scramble up the hill behind the house and feast youself on the views - the mountains on one side, the shore on the other and on a clear, cool day you can even see the islands of Lewis and Harris on the horizon. We are ideally placed for visiting local beauty spots, hill walking, bird watching, fishing, playing golf or generally relaxing in comfortable homely surroundings. Set in spectacular countryside, with Foinaven  Arkle and Ben Stack just over the hill, with Quinaig and Suliven close by. There are fantastic views and walks all around the house and area.
